Final Week of term...

What you need to do is ensure you have done the following:

1. Get your pitch for your video approved
2. Complete your storyboards for the video
3. Shoot 1 min of you talking in groups/working at the computer or some other such study process in the class and get it up on your group blog
4. Make sure we have linked your GROUP blog to the main page!

These MUST BE READY so we can start filming the FIRST week back in JANUARY!

As a secondary issue, you need to do the following, bearing in mind you can do some of this at home but points 1 and 2 you need to do in groups in school:
5. Blogged everything - see the checkpoints on here
6. Read through the purple booklet over the holidays

7. You MUST read the guide on completion - it's on the blog - you have NOT been given a paper copy...

Monday 6 December 2010

Urgent to do this week (6th Dec) and what to write about your Lipsync

So FIRSTLY

Finish your lipsync asap. If you've only got 50 secs done, that's enough - the point is to learn the editing program and learn about the processes involved in making a music video.

For your BLOG, you need to post your response to these two outcomes:
1. What did you learn about editing and how did you feel about it?
2. What do you now know about lipsync-ing that you will use to help you complete your real music video?

This is REFLECTIVE and EVALUATIVE - what did you learn? How did you feel? How has it altered your understanding? and practice? Was it good? Was it effective in teaching you something? If not, why not?

SECONDLY

You MUST get your initial idea approved by submitting a TREATMENT to Miss - it can be the lyrics with rough ideas of what will happen where and a short presentation to miss OR it can be a proper treatment - like those in your packs!

You MUST be storyboarded and have all your shooting plans and schedules ready by the end of this term - there's only THIS week and NEXT week - a max of 8 lessons so GET A MOVE ON GUYS!
